Ron loved the NHRA Drag Racing and was a member of the National Hot Rod Association. Whenever there was a race, no matter where they were, New Jersey, New York, CT, New Hampshire, we would go. Check Out His Nieces Drag Racing Website :

He also loved the Fireworks. We would never miss a firework display. As soon as the summer months began, he would map out on a piece of paper all the fireworks, the dates, the times and he would get his crew togther and off we would go. We always had a bunch of people in the car with us (sometimes more then the car would hold, but he would pack us in there somehow) and a trail of cars behind us.

Even New Years Eve, no matter how cold it was outside there was a parade and a firework display in Hartford to ring in the New Year. We would all bundle up, participate in the parade in Hartford and then watch the fireworks at 12pm. In all of the years that I was with him we never missed a firework display.
Ron also love to attend all parades, big or small, no matter where.
He loved to have his entire family and friends at the house to just hang out, cook on the grill, swim in the pool. Ronnie loved to cook and make people happy. He loved having his daughters, grandchilden, nieces, nephews, brothers, over all the time to just be together and hang out. He loved to cook (ask Nicole!!) He would always have the house cleaned and dinner on the table when he was home before me. He was a great husband.
Ron also had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone even if he did not know you.
Ron was just a great family person
He will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
